Kaycia supports nearly two decades of commitment to Lakeland. She began her career as a Psychological Technician and has held multiple roles across the organization, contributing in both clinical and operational capacities with a strong, team-oriented approach. Known for her flexibility and collaborative spirit, she is often seen supporting departments throughout the system wherever help is needed.
In addition to her work at Lakeland, Kaycia served with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, leading initiatives in program management, compliance, policy development, and education — partnering with various agencies to advance key objectives. Her background also includes several years as a Licensed Massage Therapist, reinforcing her zeal for holistic wellness and whole-person care.
Kaycia earned her bachelor’s degrees from Drury University, in Communications/Public Relations and Psychology, minoring in English and Global Studies.
A passionate advocate for mental health, Kaycia believes emotional well-being is fundamental to human dignity and should be treated with the same compassion and urgency as physical health. Her work is grounded in the belief that healing is made possible through both systemic support and everyday empathy.
