Chief Nursing Officer
John Kellerman brings over 30 years of nursing and healthcare leadership to his role as Chief Nursing Officer. Throughout his career, he has led meaningful advancements in nursing operations, including the creation of a scholarship program for LPN candidates and the implementation of unit-specific strategies to enhance team engagement and elevate care quality.
John oversees 24/7 nursing operations, staffing, and policy development. He also contributes to system-wide improvements through his active involvement with the Acadia Corporate Nursing Practice Council. His leadership is defined by a deep commitment to collaboration, operational excellence, and patient-centered care. Widely respected for his ability to build high-performing, multidisciplinary teams, John fosters a culture of mentorship, accountability, and strategic growth.
He holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration at Northcentral University. He also earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Biology, along with dual Associate of Science degrees in Nursing and Criminology. A U.S. Army veteran and Certified Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Instructor, John is an engaged member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives
