Inpatient Treatment Program for Adults (40+) in Missouri – HOPE

Lakeland Behavioral Health System helps adults (40+) struggling with mental health disorders build a strong foundation for long-term recovery.

Benefits of HOPE

HOPE is our Adult Psychiatric Inpatient Program at Lakeland Behavioral Health System in Missouri and is designed to treat acute mental health disorders for adults 40+. We will provide confidential, personalized treatment utilizing a multidisciplinary approach. This includes participation in group therapy, individual therapy, and activity therapy. Patients and families will receive education on specific disorders, medications and effective coping strategies. The goal of our program is to relieve symptoms, return patients to their best possible level of health and maximize their quality of life.

Our Treatment Team

Our treatment team consists of a psychiatrist, psychologist, pharmacist, psychiatric nurses, psychiatric social worker, clinical dietitian and a recreation therapist. The treatment team works together to formulate and implement an individualized treatment plan.  Discharge planning will be coordinated with regard to the patients’ individual needs, with follow-up services as appropriate.

Visitation

Family and friends of patients are allowed to visit daily up to one hour between the hours of 9am and 6pm.  Visitation needs to be prearranged with the Unit Charge Nurse to best fit the needs of each patient.

Phone Time

Patients will be allowed to receive or make one phone call during the hours of 12:15-2pm or 6-8pm daily.

No smoking is allowed at Lakeland Behavioral Health System.
