Military Families

Lakeland Behavioral Health System is certified by TRICARE, the health care program specifically for the families and survivors for active duty and retired members of uniformed services.

TRICARE strives to provide access to quality health care, and Lakeland's acute and residential programs meet the rigorous licensing and certification requirements of TRICARE regulations.

We have an ever expanding focus and are dedicated to serving military families in their time of need.  Lakeland is a TRICARE approved provider and contracted with TriWest, TriSouth and TriNorth as we are centrally located geographically.  We have provided services to families that are stationed overseas and outlying states with little access to services.  Lakeland will provide financial help for military families in regards to transportation and visitation needs.  If you are a military in need of our serves, please call us so we may outline in detail the benefits provided through TRICARE as well as Lakeland Behavioral Health System as a thank you for your families services and commitment to our country.

Being a TRICARE provider means that we are helping  America’s heroes – the people making sacrifices to keep America strong and safe.  We are one of the few child and adolescent facilities that are providers of all three branches of TRICARE – North, West and South.
